If Jeff wins and leads the most laps and Jimmie finishes 19th or worse, Jeff will get it.
Jimmie can win it these three ways:
1. Finish 18th or better
2. Finish 19th and lead a lap
3. Finish 21st and lead the most laps

Hi,
If Jeff Gordon finishes 1st and leads the most laps; then Johnson has to finish worse than 18th. But as long as Johnson finishes 18th or better; he's guaranteed to win the championship no matter what Jeff Gordon does.
Ryan9 - hope I could be of good help

If Jimmie finishes 19th without leading a lap, Jeff has to win and lead the most laps.

Team mates or not, I'm hoping Johnson crashes his car and totals it out in the first 10 laps (without getting hurt of course).... Rubbin' Is Racin' and I want Jeff Gordon to win !!!!!

I he leads a lap (which he probably will) I think he only needs to finish 19th to clinch it.

Gordon has conceded that Johnson will win. He is almost mathematically impossible. Plus, Johnson won the poll for the race and Gordon will start 13th.
