Would it be ok to get a facial the day of a big party?? I get out of work at 5 and the party is at like 9ish, I know sometimes your skin can react weird and turn red or whatever, any opinions?

Well if you did it like 6ish then the redness would be gone but not an hour our less before the party because if you have anything that the facialist would like to pick at the redness wouldn't be gone until 1 hour and 30 minutes later.

when i worked in this field, i tried to discourage someone going to a special event that day or next, with getting a facial, there great, but lets face it, they stimulate the skin and work out impurities. better to wait or do it a week before.

i think it would see if you do get red put some make up over it and when you go to the party if its outside and dark no one will really notice but if it does turn red then put some make up over it

if you like the look of roacea (cant spell) then yeah sure....lol...no but seriously you should have facial day or two before...not day of........you'd be chancing it on the reactions.....and would you really want to miss the BIG PARTY?

i would cay don't i've seen some girls after a facial and it looks like a world war took place on their face.

just do it kind of early enough after work, so if you get pink skin from a reaction, it'll just heal.
