OK yes, legal . . . in most states if you have sex now, you are breaking the law and risk being labeled a sex offender.
I would continue to date, probably make a point to develop a relationship with her parents so they feel good about it, and then wait until she's at least 18 before you have sex.
Do that and it's all good!
Don't listen to most of the people below me. They are ill-informed, or they assume you can't date without sex. The age of consent refers to sexual intercourse, not dating. Don't have sex and you break no laws. Pretty simple. Plus some states the age of consent is 16.
Don't assume "the cops have nothing better to do" and just have sex with her though. You piss off her parents and you will be arrested and charged with indecency with a minor, and be labeled a sex offender. It's not worth it.

Of course i dont find anything wrong..maybe illegal for sex but still the 4 years difference is not a problem. I myself dated my bf at the age of 16 and he was 20.. now im 23 and we are still together.

There is nothing wrong with that at all. I am 18 and date a 22yo...so its the same thing really. And believe me, the cops have much more important things to be worrying about, so for the legal issue, I am sure they would turn a blind eye.

ah yes, the handy age of consent chart, don't leave home without. If your in a state with age 18 laws, well I guess you'll be doing some interstate travel, now won't you :-)

1st it depends on her parents. They are her legal guardian. If they approve maybe. But for safety reason, I would stop dating her and look her up when she turns 18.

It's okay . . . but potentially dangerous. If you honk off either her or her parents, the sex-offender label will be branded upon your forehead for all time.
Can you two keep your hands to yourselves until her birthday? I didn't think so . . .
