I'm sorry I can't do complicated algebra.
I'm sorry I don't grasp a lot of scientific concepts easily.
I'm sorry I don't have the strength to be anorexic.
I'm sorry I don't have the prettiest face.

I'm sorry that I won't get down on my knees and kiss your feet and stroke your ego so you'll love me.

Well, none of them.
If someone insults my intelligence then they do not know how intelligent I really am.
If someone insults my appearance then they are not looking close enough.
If someone insults my value to society then they know nothing of my contributions.
So I guess those things could not insult me. The only thing I can think of right now that I find insulting is when someone insists on praying for my soul/conversion to another religion. That is just presumptuous.

It would depend on who is doing it. If someone who knows me well insults my intelligence that would hurt a lot. Mostly as I was considered very intelligent when I was younger and now that I'm getting old my mind sometimes fails me.
I don't worry about my appearance as much as I used to. My value goes down everyday according to society. So....my intelligence is it.

Someone insults my intelligence. I say that because as a disabled person. People just assume I'm ugly inside because my outside isn't perfect. Plus, these days your worth/value to society is tied to all these things. It's sad really! People are simply whoever God made them to be.

The first.

I have accepted my physical appearance. I know I'm not beautiful. I don't feel I have the right to be offended.

At this point in my life, it's pretty much normal that I contribute nothing to society; I haven't completed my education yet. Of course I am worth nothing to society right now, but that will change.

When it comes to my intelligence, however, I am offended. I wouldn't call myself a genius; far from it. Still, I'm not stupid.

I would say intelligence and value to society because those are things which really matter.

Insults about my physical appearance do not bother me in the slightest. I've learned to embrace my physical imperfections :)

Intelligence, however I tend to look at the source of the insult before taking it to heart.

the 2nd best Christian denomination interior the worldwide is lapsed Catholics. they at the instant are not atheists. they only stopped going to church. a lot of them nevertheless have deep faith. the reality that somebody - all of us - would not shelter going to church would not cause them to an atheist. I come from the Bay section initially. form of like gay necessary. they're many of the main deeply dedicated human beings of religion that i know. no longer all of them attend church. The Catholic Church has an somewhat great presense in San Francisco, so gay Catholics have many places to flow and intensely some issues to do. different denominations at the instant are not extremely there for their gay community.

My worth, because I'm confident enough to know that I have intelligence and beauty, but I'm not sure if that's worth anything to anyone.
