Why would you want to... buy any of ... his.. her... its???? music is just contributing to a definitely degenerative person. Music, literature, TV... are just like food, what we take in becomes part of our memories and spirit... Go buy the new Casting Crowns or Todd Agnew CD instead.

Forget about the public view of Manson, and look at the content of his work. Is it uplifting, does it speak to you and offer you hope ... or is it rude and sarcastic, mean-spirited and such?

I don't ask my favorite musicians to lead clean pure lives or I won't listen to them, I listen to their music and what it says and where it leads me. I simply adore Queen and think that Bohemian Rhapsody is like the greatest song ever lol. I disagree with how they lived their lives, but the music is heavenly :)

If the rapture would occur and you were listening to that music would Jesus be happy with you? Should a Christian be listening to a satanist about anything except maybe a sinners prayer? Would Jesus listen to that music? Think about it, the old devil is trying to draw you in, don't let him tell you its okay, he was a liar and the father of it remember, John 8:44.

What does light have to do with darkness? Righteousness with unrighteousness? Be in the world but not of the world. Neither give place to the devil. These are just a few of the many commands / warnings in God's Word directed to those who say they are Christians. We are to heed them, not dimiss them. There's an old saying that I noted in one of my bibles many years ago..... "If you allow the devil to ride with you, next time he's gonna want to drive." Others say "no harm" but they don't understand we have an enemy who is out to destroy souls of God's kingdom and make them slaves of hell. Chase Satan away, don't be a fool and invite him in.

Marilyn Manson is awesome, he's intelligent and talented, you should listen to him he's cool, that doesn't mean you have to share his belief system, it just means you enjoy his talent.

And his talent was a gift from God, why shouldn't you enjoy it?

Have you heard of freedom. Why let somebody else decide what you want to do?

It is absolutley NOT a good idea. Talk to your pastor or youth pastor about your feelings, and they can guide you rightly.
