Disassociate yourself from them.
If that isn't feasible, then ignore most of what they say. Never give a liar any ammunition to use against you later. If you ignore what they say or take it with a grain of salt, they'll come to realize that you just aren't interested in the office gossip.

Wow, I'm not sure, maybe just steer clear of them. If your related to them, try and get 'em help. There are people with this problem. It's nerve-racking, and just a shame.
