Another holocaust is not an option for the state of Israel. Let's remember that Israel has anywhere from 85 to 400 nuclear weapons depending on which estimate you subscribe to. They can deliver these weapons via ballistic missile, submarine, aircraft or clandestine means. If the state of Israel finds itself in a grave situation they will respond with nuclear weapons. The best example of this was the early part of the 1973 Yom Kippur war when they fueled their nuclear missiles and had nuclear armed planes waiting on the runway. The most likely result of a complete removal of US support may be nothing in the short term but in the long term it could lead to a coalition of Arab and/or islamist states to attack Israel in force. If threatened Israel would almost certainly employ nuclear weapons in its defense. If this happens the middle east would be thrown into an even graver situation that it is today and stability would be hundreds of years into the future.

the u . s . makes use of Israel as a device interior the mid-east. the u . s . get a ver y small share of its oil from the mid-est yet many different international locations be counted heavily on the mid-east for oil. If the u . s . can shop administration over that region it may administration the international locations that be counted on that oil. If notwithstanding their impression weakens and they see no extra use for it they're going to discard it like a used condom. that is strictly what happened in Afghanistan. The leaders of the u . s . use Afghanistan antagonistic to the Soviets, absolutely sending the Afghans extra money and guns than they have ever despatched to Israel, once the Soviet Union collapsed they no longer had a use for his or her best pal Afghanistan and disregarded it and many years later invaded it. there's a lesson in there someplace.

First off- we don't give them food aid, lol. We don't give them so many weapons anymore, they make a lot of really great weapons technology themselves, and what we do give them accounts for less than 0.07% of their GDP, Israeli economy is on fire, so I doubt it would make a big difference seeing as we don't give them as much aid as people think. Anyway, they are probably our best allies out there, better than those ****** englishmen and such allies that walk out on us in the middle of a goddamn war.

Someone would be prosecuted.

The money we send to Israel (and to Egypt) is part of a treaty obligation courtesy of President Carter.

They probably wouldn't notice now. I hardly think they need it anymore.

Come to think of it, the only time they really needed it was during those wars when they were under assault by numerous hostile neighbors, but it's pretty much already established that they can take them on.
