can we ban muslim religion?

there are too many honour crimes because of it. some muslim woman was now murdered in Italy because she refused to marry with a man that her family chose. there are many cases like this around the world. thousands of women dies each year. then they were burning embassies and 100 people died because of those funny pictures of mohamad. women are discriminated, they have to be covered, they dont have any freedom. women are also killed if they arent virgins when they are married. then also terrorism started because of it.

if muslims are really so violent and get offended on small things, then they should change or we will forbid this religion. its not normal that a woman is killed just because she refused a man that her family picked. its a modern world where everyone is free to choose what they want. but if muslims are so discriminative, then there isnt any place for them on this world and we should ban their religion.

its not normal that so many honour killings happens just because of the religion. its not normal that their god allows to stone sinners to death.

If people create atrocities in the name of religion, how can a sensible person blame it on the religion?

If Islam is the root of the chaotic situation you have mentioned, then, why you dont find such things happening in Asia, where there are majority of Muslims?

Islam means submission, peace. Uneducated people misunderstand and create havoc in the name of Islam. It is not correct to criticise Islam. These people do this for other gains, politics, monetary etc. They are not True Muslims.

With regard to pictures of the holy Prophet Muhammad, the people (non-muslims) know all along that it is considered blasphemous to the Muslims and would create havoc, but still they chose to do it. People should be mindful and tolerant to other faiths and should not do things which might anger them.

Did the Christian world keep quiet after the movie "The Last Temptation of Christ" and "The Da Vinci Code" ? Did they not demonstrate ?

Do you think anyone dares to take such movies based on Islam? The answer is No, and the reasons are obvious.

We are not discriminative. We are simply saying, mind your own business and we'll mind ours. Respect our faith and we'll respect yours. Is there anything wrong in that?

First of all your information about Islam are Corrupted.

1- It doesn't mean at all because of one women was killed that all Muslim women being killed for refusing marriage .i.e. don't judge on a whole religion depending one single wrong stupid situation.

2- What will be your feeling if someone insult yourself or your father or mother or son and put insulting pictures in a newspaper?
Mohamed (peace be upon him) for Muslims is much more important than all of their family and even themselves.

3- Muslim Women are covered because nudity is not a good thing or it is not?!!! Only bitchs who try to reveal their bodies.
And what is your reference in saying that they don't have any freedom. Who told you so? Who has more freedom the woman who is staying in her home as a queen or who have to go to work and works hard just to get money for food? What is the function of men in this world nursing the children?!!

4- Woman who becomes not virgin before marriage get punished not killed. Guess why? Because she commits Adultery. Is adultery allowed in you religion?!!

5- Terrorism started when big countries started looking for land and oil. Every day hundred of people killed in Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia,.......do Muslims do all of this. Have you ever heard about Italian terrorists or gangs? Do we need to ban Italian people?

Even If, you are not a Muslim so it is none of your business Muslims who are killed or women who don't have freedom.

Who do you think yourself, the police of the world and who are "we" who should ban Islam? If the armies and military forces of all the countries in the world combined together they will not be able to ban Islam.

Finally, Please be informed that Islam is the most spreading religion in the world.

1. If the case in Italy really is true, its is a cultural thing. Source: Quran says nothing about this
2. do you not expect people to retaliate after the hateful pictures were published? I took the pics as a huge insult to my beliefs. There is a difference between free speech and hate speech.
3. the women being killed is another cultural thing. Also not mentioned at all in the Quran
4. there are 1.84 billion muslims in the world and a few hundred on CNN to destroy our image. theres not even such thing as "honor killings" in islam period!!!

Do you know that there are hardly such cases? DO you know how many christians or hindus or jews have the same thig in their lives?
Do you know that the media never highlights the other issues but focues on muslims because islam has become a brand name now?

* Ban Christianity for the bombing of abortion clinics, Nazism and their association with the KKK
* Ban Judaism on account of the Six Day War
* Ban Catholicism for the Crusades and sympathizing with the Nazis during WW II
* Ban Hinduism because of India's violence against Muslims during the partition of India and Pakistan in the 1940's
* Ban Atheism on account of the persecution and violence of communist regimes against religious people.

I'm not supporting any of the above claims, but what I am saying is that every creed and philosophy has had something outrageous done in its name. All too often people take the actions of a fringe faction or a random screwball and falsely attribute it to an entire religion. Ban one religion on account of one specific abuse and you're just cherry-picking to suit your own prejudices. The only fair thing to do would be to shut down pretty much all of Y!A except for Homework Help.

Back in the time of Jesus there were stonings...No, it is not right to kill people for simple things as youare saying...But this is not all of Islam..Don't get caught up generalizing all of Islam...Our American troops, might I add...not all of them but some of them, have slipped up and killed innocent civilians for no reason what-so-ever....Our military is killing people needlessly....

Freedom of religion is a right of all human beings. And in the United States it is guaranteed in the Constitution.
However, no religion can be allowed to break the law in the name of religion. Murder is already illegal and that is what you want to be stopped.
