what's the best wedding show you have ever been to? Preferably in Tampa Bay, Florida. But any state will do.

Well,
My best friends bridal shower was THE BEST. all of us bridesmaids, (4 of us) did it for her.
She loves breakfast at tiffanys and 50-60's glamour..
so that was the theme!
we hung white cloths - ncie fabric from the ceiling down the walls (they were disgusting, as we hired a cheap reasonably big place knowing the only thing guests would see was the floor! which was polished, and beautiful) We got black and white glamour photos and put them as a border around the tables. Served beautiful food and on black tables, guests sat on
(White antiqueish chairs from that eera) with black ribbons around them. long strings of fake pearls were hung across the room, a bar serving cocktails.
Guests wore black or white, and white gloves were provided at the door for the tiffany look!
Plenty of fun things to do, and many party games.
It looked a lot better than i have described.
I would upload photos but if you copy too much it wont be your bridal shower!
It will be my friends re-incarnated!
So maybe a theme of something you love?

Here is a list of games for you:

The Groom
Prior to the shower, someone contacts the groom and asks him a list of questions (about 10 or 15) about himself and the "intended" Be sure that whatever you ask him remains a secret so that the bride doesn't know ahead of time. Write out each question on a 3x5 index card and on the back write the grooms answers. Some types of questions can be:
1. What's the groom's favorite food?
2. If the groom were a superhero, who would he be?
3. What was the date of your first kiss, date?
4. Where did you go on your first date?
5. What animal would the groom compare you to? --Get creative!
At the shower, read the questions to the group. Each person writes down how many they think the bride will get right. To get the question right, the bride must match the groom's answer. Then ask the bride the questions, let her answer, then read them out loud. It's a lot of fun and can get very interesting.

Who knows the Bride Best
....this is similar to one that I said earlier (trivia game) Only the Bride to be fills out an info sheet on herself (favorite food, restaurant, pet, place she wants to live ..etc.) she should have about 20 things. For example: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? What is your favorite place to eat lunch? Give the same questions to each guest and have them fill out what THEY think her answers would be. -----Got the idea?

Wedding Dress:
Before the shower, purchase several rolls of white toilet paper. At the party, divide the guests into two or more groups of 3-5 people. Each group must choose a model for their wedding dress (mothers of the bride and/or groom work wonderfully). The goal is for each group to design and fashion a "wedding dress" out of toilet paper. Accessories are allowed (earrings, bouquets, trains, headpieces, wedding ring, etc.), but they must all be fashioned out of toilet paper. Once the groups are finished, the bride must pick the winner of the contest. This is my favorite bridal shower activity. And brides love this contest for the wonderful photo-memories it provides.

What the Bride Says
As the bride opens each gift, have someone write down what she says (without her knowing). After all the gifts are opened, have the person read her comments back. These are the bride's words to describe her wedding night. (Make sure your guests can handle this one!)

Clothespin Game
As each guest arrives, clip a clothespin to her clothing. If someone hears another person saying the word "bride", she gets to take her clothespin. The player with the most "pins" at the end of the shower, gets a prize.

What is the Bride Wearing?
Let the bride know ahead of time. After everyone has visited for a while, the bride quietly leaves the room and listens from a spot where the guests cannot see her. Then ask the guests about what she is wearing. Is her hair up or down? Color of shoes? Outfit color? Ask as many questions as you can think of...then start asking about the bride's favorite color, TV show, food. Go around the room taking turns answering. Everyone who has not missed an answer at the end wins a prize.

Send a Note
Provide each guest with a pretty note card for them to write a message to the bride and groom. On the outside of the envelope, have them write down when they should open it, such as before the wedding, the wedding night, their honeymoon, first anniversary.

I couldnt think of many themes, because i dont know your bride!!??

The best I attended was in NM, and the couple's marriage lasted only seven months. But, anyway, it was in the Winter, and everybody wore black, white, or a combination of the two. It was gorgeous! The flowers were white with black satin ribbons. The tables, chairs, decorations, and candles were done in black and white, too! The guests were reminded to wear black and white. The father owned a Casino in Las Vegas, and many celebrities were present. It was the most elaborate wedding I've ever seen to this day. But, I believe this could be carried off by most wedding planners or the bridal couple.

i've got been to one and it exchange into very useful. distributors you need to no longer in many situations understand have been available are on the teach to bypass out techniques. You get to pattern cake from bakers, food from caterers, inspect preparations from florists and portfolios from photographers. There are musicians appearing and each so often a manner teach from close by bridal salons. I took an expandable report prepared by potential of style of supplier and accumulated as plenty info as achieveable. It finally ends up being like a pre interview with distributors. you could in many situations tell early on once you are going to love them or no longer after which you do no longer waste it gradual with an appointment. they have drawings and provide aways at fairly plenty each and every sales area so there's a lot of risk to win loose stuff. be careful however, considering you're giving them your touch info once you sign in so be arranged for some solicitation in case you certainly need to go into the drawings. I took my MOH and we had a blast. I have been given some dozen loose pens and notepads to boot alongside with a loose close by bridal instruction manual with different close by distributors that weren't even at that teach and a loose situation of modern Bride. i'm certainly getting a particular fee from my DJ by way of fact I met him on the teach. Its a variety of "Bridal teach particular" that he had working. Flat fee no time shrink with each and all of the bells and whistles coated for $650. That fee reductions acceptable there exchange into nicely easily worth the $8 fee ticket to the teach.
