I'm sorry. I have never had a hampster but I know loosing a pet can be difficult. I have lost a Cat and two dogs within the past few years. I had back yard funeral for my cat and my small dog and I had my german shepard cremated. I wrote letters to them telling them how much I loved them and burried it with them and put the one for the german shepard into the cremation box. Writing the letter helped alot.

You should get a new hamster and buy many of them so they have babies trust me its a lot of fun watching them grow.
My hamster had 4 babies and then the parents both died. It was sad

I'm sorry. Loosing a pet is hard to get over. When I was younger, we had to put our little Yorkie puppy down because she went blind and got mean. I was distraught, I couldn't eat for like two days. And then later we moved, and I had a whole bunch of birds that we couldn't take with us, so I had to give them all away. Eventually we got another dog, and I even got more birds, but it was hard to get used to not having the old ones around. Like the others said, maybe you could get another one, but don't until you are ready to accept it. I hope that that is some consolation! Good luck. ~me~

I've had two dwarf hamsters, 4 rabbits, 1 dog, lots of fish and a few frogs die.
SERIOUSLY... try eating chocolate,
making a gravestone and giving it a funeral (you can make a grave stone by scratching his/her name into a stone) - can make grave stone and give it a funeral even if its already buried / flushed,
thinking of it in a better place (filled with hamster food, wheels, chew toys ect..).

I'M SURE IT'S VERY HAPPY WHERE EVER IT IS (THOUGH I'M ALSO SURE IT'S MISSING YOU AS MUCH AS YOUR MISSING IT) - The fact you miss it proves you loved it (that's good news)

Try to be happy that the hamster had a good life.

people take losses different ways. try to be happy that your hamster gets to cross the rainbow bridge and have all the treats he wants and never get fat! imagine a paradise for him/her. some people cope with loss by distracting themselves. do yo have any other pets? try to occupy your time with loving them as much as you can. dont however, try to totally forget him/her. take a few moments out of your day to pray that he is happy or remember all the best times.
im sorry for your loss. hope i could help.

It's natural to be sad when a pet dies. I'm sure that you cared for your hamster very much and enjoyed his/her company. I'm sorry for your loss.
