i have a Cittertrail 3 by Super Pet, for my hammie, Daisy. during the day, she like to sleep in the top open-up nest box thingy. I talk softly to her to wake her up and she wakes up, then goes in the tube for ten minutes, or until i am away for a little. How do i get my hammie out of the tube without killing it?

I know Daisy isn't dying because i showed her to my vet cousin and she said Daisy looked fine

i have a hamster also, sounds like urs doesnt want to be bothered until shes ready to wake up.hamsters are nocturnal and need a good days rest undisturbed bacause when they are up in the evening and during the night they burn all theyre energy reserves.please let daisy sleep and she will be more then willing to come out and play later.trust me.

My advice. Chill out about the word "hammie/hammy" I don't particularly think her comment was that "mean". Second, I think you need to leave her alone and let her do her own thing. She'll come out when she's good and ready. All of my hamsters get to come out when they're ready, which is usually around midnight.

Leave her in there. If you try to get her out, she could decide to bite you because she's cranky.

Ok. first off....never say 'Hammie' ever again. Thats probably why she isn't coming out. Secondly, hamsters are nocturnal. Leave her alone. Stop waking her up and messing with her. Towards evening hours when she's had a full day of rest... put some baby carrots at the end of the tube and sit tight. She'll go for them.....eventually.

calm down a little. jeany the meany was not right to critisize you using the word hammy but you kind of over reacted. anyway just let her come out on her own and try when it is later in the day.

Just be patient. Perhaps the hamster goes in there so she can have some privacy. If you show respect for your hamster's wishes she will probably come to trust you more and then will allow you to play with her.

well its sleeping and u wake it up, its cranky and doesnt want to be bothered, like the first kid said, just grab it if u really want it, but if not then just wait till about 8:30 then it should be up and ready to come out

hmm... maybe you should...um...hmm....

you should let it come out on it's own. It maybe a little scared and grouchy. Once it comes out, talk to it softly again.it might just be scared.

Just let her be until she wants to come out.
