I've been with my bf for 3+years now. Last night when he left my house he said that he felt we were growing apart and that he feels he failed in our relationship. He didn't even say he loved me when he left or when he called to let me know he got home ok.
Today, he was off work and I called to see what he was up to and he sounded kind of weird. He didn't want to go grab dinner tonight or even come over, which is strange for him. He didn't say i love you when we hung up either which is not him. Anyone have any ideas what's wrong? Does it mean he wants to break up?

So my birthday was last week and my mom sent my boyfriend home with the rest of the cake in her dish. He evidently stopped by earlier and brought the dish but I had gone to the mall with a friend. He didn't tell her to have me call him or that he would call me or say hi to me or anything.

I'd say there is a good possibility.....sounds like he is thinking about it. You need to ask him point blank! Not knowing what is going on in your loved one's mind and heart is torture.

um um OK theres ether 2 things that are going on 1 and I'm only saying this because it hap pend to me 1 time OK my bf was cheating on me and don't get all in a bind because i said that its just a statement OK the other thing it could be is that he really does think that you guys have grown apart. and the way u find out is has he always been honest with u if so he might be telling the truth and if he hasn't been that way u might need to break out the spy Kit well i hope i helped some and i wish u the best of luck hey u never no with guys the problem might be that he thinks your to perfect for him =)

sounds like we are in the same boat but i would say yes he is thinking of moving on or, is there some thing that you dont do for him any more? maybe he thinks that you are drifting away, the only real way to find out is to talk to him dont beat around the bush just come right out with it

He wants to move on. Three years is a long time without a marriage proposal. He does not feel your the one, he wants out. Move on you'll be fine but don't try and force him to stay.

sounds like he does. he failed because he probably thought he'll never fall out of love with you, but he did.
