Heres what I say:
Get to know each of the two boys and get to learn more about them. And maybe if you know each of these boy's background you can figure something out about them that makes them "unworthy" or "Just not Mr. Right". I say the one with the less flaws is your prince in shining armor.

It would appear that the type of help you want is one that allows you to date the bad guy which it is apparent you want to do. To start with, you can date anybody you want as long as you are willing to deal with the consequences of your actions. You are already aware of what to expect from the cute but bad guy. If you are ready to be ill treated and abused, then you know who to go out with.However, I believe that you love and respect yourself too much to allow yourself to be abused.
