Yes, if you happen to cherry pick what to follow from the Bible. Of course, Christians decide which rules to cherry pick based on the ethics and morality of secular society.

Yes, the Judeo-Christian ethics are the basis of how we are to act, treat others, and live. The Ten Commandments and the Beatitudes, (or look up Jesus' "Sermon on the Mount"), as well as the big one, the Golden Rule, treat others like you would like to be treated.
This is the basis of my life, most common law systems in the world, and a good share of morality and ethics lessons you will hear.
It is hard to be peaceful in a world of division and hatred among groups of people, especiallly when they base their differences on religion. If we truly live by these few simple guidelines, we live an ethical, moral life. Ghandi, Budda and many other prophets say almost the same things in their ethical guidelines. Its pretty universal.

I believe that ethics and religion, any religion are the same idea. That idea is the Golden Rule. You know the one, "Do unto to others and you have them do unto you." That is all religions boiled down to their simplest form. That is all ethics boiled down to one sentence.

Yes, the foundation of which is the Ten Commandments, and including the Beatitudes. Doesn't mean that all Christians understand or interpret them correctly.

One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, "Of all the commandments, which is the most important?" "The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these." (NIV, Mark 12:28-31)
