i think i still have feeling for my ex. he currently has a GF so i know that i cant go out with him now. i know, i know, get over it. right? well were still best buddies and im cool with that. the problem is that when we went out, he cheated on me. do you think me going out with him after him (after hes single, i dont want him doing to his current GF what he did to me) is just setting myself up for failure? if he cheats on me again, idk if our friendship can go through that again (although i know that hes still friends with all his exes, he told me).

one of the main reasons we are still friends is because after a week of me being mad at him i was thinking that i didnt want to lose a good friend because of something stupid he did. so i wrote him a note saying how i felt (because i wasnt ready to talk yet) and a few days later we were able to hang again. it wasnt untill after summer was over and i had classes with him at school that i realized i still liked him.

Have you ever heard the expression 'a leopard can't change its spots'? If you understand this expression, then you'll know that your ex is a cheater - once a cheater, always a cheater.

If you want to keep him as a friend, don't go back to being his girlfriend.

Make a deal with yourself to stay away from him for one month. 30 days, that's all. You will be surprised at how your head will change. You will realize that you can never prove that he loves you enough to stop cheating, because he's a cheater. It has nothing to do with you.

He cheated on you??? How can he be a friend - let alone a boyfriend - after he so thoroughly proved that he can't be trusted???

Walk away, little girl. Don't look back, don't see him again, don't ever talk to him, work at wiping him out of your memory . . . and move on.
