Fireball, you could do better than walk with your blinders between your nose! My goodness. Look out for the bus on the side and the dog running at you from behind you. ARE YOU THAT NARROW?

What a brilliant philosophical question. Ignorance is the lack of factual knowledge so by learning you should be reducing your ignorance. However, if you are learning about religion then you are increasing your knowledge of ignorance. Does this make you more or less ignorant?

I would say it's always good to increase your knowledge of other cultures, peoples, and religions. Even if it's just to learn how frickin crazy those people are, it's good to know your enemy.

I guess there is 2 questions here. Well I would say no don't spread more ignorance. Or don't ask ignorant questions either. I would say the best way is to actually study other religions that sounds pretty good to me.

Ignorance of other religions? If so, it's probably reading about them. Spreading more ignorance is like a double negative, which is grammatically and logically unsound.

The Bible consistently warns us against being IGNORANT...God does NOT want us ignorant of satans devices, nor does He want us ignorant of His plan and purpose to save all of mankind thru the death, burial and ressurection of Christ.

Most people belong to the largest church on the planet thru lack of STUDY...."The Church of the Ignorant Brethren".

Um, i don't think its possible to be ignorant to religion. You either have faith in a particular religion, or you don't.
Personally, i think that if you're labelling someone ignorant because they don't follow your particular religion, the ignorance is yours alone.

Open your mind and talk to one who practices the religion you want to know more about. Share some about your religion as well.

Ignorance is combated by instilling in yourself and others a desire to learn and to develop cognitive skills.
