i think they were afraid he would start something with the russians. my opinion, not an accident.

Yes, it was an accident. That already had been proven. And besides, what is the point of killing Patton?. He had no political clout whatsoever to influence decision-making in Washington, so forget about the conspiracies against Russia. Furthermore, WW2 was over and during peace-time, military figures like Patton, McArthur, Bradley, Nimitz became less significant.

Accident, the private involved had already admitted as much. if the Russians wanted to knock off Patton they could of in a thousand different ways, even using a German spy to assassinate him and pinning it on a Nazi sympathizer.

a car accident would be a very ineffective way to kill particularly when there are a lot of witnesses.

They didn't wear seatbelts back then, so it was common for minor auto accidents to result in serious or fatal injuries for the occupants.

I heard it was'nt, you know he hated the russians ? He wanted the US and germany to crush those mongoloid russians. Im sure when the US heard what he said he had to go.
