hey what one should i learn. i plan on being a culnary cheif and want to know what one will be more helpful in my life.

i am on my 4 yr of spanish and can speak it quite well, and when i looked up french the alphabet is almost the same (are they some-what simialir) ?
anyways i plan on doing pastry(s) more but want to do dishes as well thanks everyone ;)

Italian everyone hates the French besides Italy is a much prettier place than France

It really depends on what style of culinary art you wish to follow. French cuisine would be easier to understand with a knowledge in French. The same would apply to Italian cuisine. I do not only mean for the names of the dishes but get closer to the " soul" required for Culinary Artistry. Cheers--Paul

French is hardest language to learn. I have been learning it for about 3 months and it doesn't seem to make any sense. Go for italian

Both languages would be very helpful in that field.
If it were me, I'd learn Italian first, because I am Italian and there are definitely more Italian places to eat in my area than French places.

French, They are very big cookers, so are Italians, but There are alot of french foods and that but Italian is easier to learn!

probably french, all the cutting techniques and proper vocab is usually in french not italian. italians are just known for thier good food
