I don't use anything but a hair drier every so often. I usually have it pulled back in a scrunchie or down, nothing special.

Just get them cut off, it will be easier and better for your hair just to get rid of them completely.

Don't worry, because now that the dead ends are gone, you hair can grow faster, so it should be back to its normal length in a pretty short time.

its by Dole

Just tell the hair stylist to trim an inch off your layers. ("I'd like an inch off the layers, please") After you get them clipped away, use extra conditioner on your ends to prevent new ones from growing. When you use conditioner, leave it in your hair for at least 10 minutes so it can penetrate the hair shaft.

Also try using Garnier Fructis Long & Strong Anti-Split Ends Treatment, which you can find at CVS or Walgreens. Use it by rubbing it in to the tips of your hair after a shower while your hair is still damp. DON'T RINSE IT! Let your hair dry, and that's it!

That is a bummer. Your hair is already cut in layers, and you don't want to cut it anymore. I would not say you are screwed. Try, to find a really good conditioner, and work with that.

Hopefully, it will grow back for you.

I like hair cut in layers, but if your ends is splitting that is no good.

Good luck.

There is no way to get rid of split ends, unless you cut them off! They'll continue to get worse if you don't.

In the future, you can use products like Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny Serum or something like Biosilk before blow drying and straightening your hair.

Try not to put your hair in tight ponytails. And always condition!

Try getting Garnier Fruits and keep the conditioner in your hair for about 3-4 minutes. But the overall the best way is to trim.

Good Luck!

The only way to get rid of split ends is to cut them off. You can temporarily mask them by using a shampoo that seals the ends, but that wears off and washes off.
