I just downloaded some DOS games, but it runs too fast. Can someone give me a detailed explanation on what I can do to slow these games down?

I know I can download MoSlo, but I'm not exactly sure how to use run games using this program. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm trying to use MoSlo and DOSBox, but I'm not sure what to enter at the command prompt. Can anyone help me figure out what to type?

Thanks for your help, everyone.

I finally figured out I could drag DOS .exe files to DOSBox and start the games from there.

Download Dos-box, it allows you to modify the 'CPU cycles' in the configuration file to make the game playable.

I find the dos-box to be superior to WindowsXP's emulation.

If the previous suggestion doesn't work you can try using a Slow down program. These programs basically waste CPU cycles so your DOS program appears to be running on an old slow PC

Find the game's executable file (the file you run, usually {somename}.exe) using Windows Explorer. Right click on the file, and choose "Properties".
Click the "Program" tab. Click the "Advanced" button.
Check the "Comaptible Timer Emulation" box. Click "OK", then "Apply", then "OK" again. See if that fixes the games speed.
