Your views on Gerunds and participles?

They can be Gerunds in English or any other language?

actually present participle and gerunds have the same form. Is that what you are referring to?

I think people often get gerunds and present participles confused because they look the same: they are both made with -ing. The difference is in usage.

Yes, some other languages use gerunds, too.
