The warmest temperature in Antarctica isn't -15°C, it's more likely to be +15°C. I've been on the Peninsular when it was +9°C and because of the intense sun and calm conditions it was warm enough to work in just a T shirt.

Close by where we were there were sizeable areas of grass, that's never before happened in Antarctica for thousands of years. I found an article about it here - http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article405824.ece, I've got some photos as well that I can e-mail you.

I'd be interested to know who told you that -15°C is the warmest temperature. I've just checked live feeds from Antarctica and the current temps there include -4°C at Casey, -8°C at McMurdo, -1°C at Mawson, 0°C at Davis, -4°C at Dumont.

Because Al Gore says it does. You can't argue against a well known person with a noble prize, an Oscar, has been cheated by George Bush and invented the Internet.

There is also a consensus of scientists that say there is global warming.

It only took the Vatican 600 years to reverse the excommunication of Galileo for scientifically proving the earth was not the center of the universe.

Well, the ice cap it not melting all at once, only the farthest part to the south that melt in the faster rate than other part especially during summer. According to the satellite image, the northern part is getting greener in the last two or three decade. North America such as Canada, as well as other part of Russia will experience warmer climate and greener environment. As a result, the world will have less and less ice.

Well it is a known fact that ice does break off the edges and float away every summer. If it isn't melting, then what IS happening? And where did you get that -15 C number? Is the sea water is not frozen then it must be warmer than you say.

You have hit the point right on the dot. There is no Global Warming at all! There is just some scientists that want attention or something. You have found the perfect question. As well you have proven the theory wrong. I like your question very much and I completely agree with you!!!

You have been badly misinformed. McMurdo is on the coast, and it has a YEAR-ROUND average temperature of about -17 C. In the summer, it's a lot warmer than that: average December temperatures are about -3, and of course there are many individual days warmer than that.

Its the magic pixies from global warming land. Nevermind the fact that the glaciers expand and contract continually. Ignore the fact that there is NO EVIDENCE for AGW, only some correlations, gut feelings, and theories.
