i find that they are tough and quite hard to cut...agree or disagree?

I certainly agree.. better off buying foccacia bread.

I don't know which ready made crust you are using. They can't all be the same. I buy Trader Joe's Whole grain crust, and it's wonderful The other I've used that most grocery stores carry now is "Boboli", which also comes in whole wheat. That's very good too, although not as good as Trader Joe's crust. Neither is tough or hard to cut at all.

I dont think they're very good either. There's nothing like the real thing.
