Pretty much just IPAs and ESBs.
American microbrews are some of the tops in the world these days. Some truly excellent creations.
Since this is the R&S section, did you know that the Babylonians figured out how to brew beer about 3000 years before God created the earth (6000 years ago).

Other than the very rare and occasional Guinness, I don't like beer. It's foul. The closest thing to beer I actually like drinking is Strongbow cider.

I stopped answering these kind of questions over in Food & Drink or P&S, but since you want my devout "religious" opinion.... whatever's on tap: Newcastle's always good, or Hefeweizen, Boddington's if I can find it, but I'll take a Corona or a Miller Lite if there's nothing else around.
Peace to you.

Sam Adams Oktoberfest has no peer in my estimation. Being that you can only get that for about a month a year (and it just ended, frowny face) I'm a fan of several of the local brews around DC. Old Dominion Brewery has a great lager.

I like California style microbrew pale ale, and other similar varieties. I don't care for lagers or pilsners, and enjoy porters and stouts on occasion.
Today, I'm enjoying the Oregon Brewing Company's Rogue Amber.
