The 'Original Sin' must be an idea from very very ancient times when incest was so common on account of small populations; then when populations began increasing and people could meet their opposite sexes with no blood relationship and realise that offsprings seemed without defects when breeding with no close relation between the partners, the idea of 'original sin' may have been introduced.
Now, as you might know Christian dogmas and rules were introduced hurriedly at the orders of the Roman emperor Constantine who needed a state religion to unite his disparate peoples and to stop the flow of religious ideas from the east which they felt were counterproductive and politically dangerous as people then tended to give political allegience which confirmed to their religious allegience.
So you have a horde of contradictory beliefs introduced hurriedly in the newly fledging Christian religion like this even then outdated 'original sin' concept, and other beliefs introduced to make Christianity seem the only true religion.
Do you know the birthdate of Jesus, 25th December, is actually a cosmic birthdate of Mithras, borrowed to make a newly convert from the then widespread persian religion of Mithraism, a corruption of the original persian Zoroastrianism, feel comfortable in being Christian.

You don't have to beg for anything. If you do wrong, you ask to be forgave and you try not to do it again.
Just like a parent that catches a child say stealing a buck. They make the child apologize for the action and promise not to do it again.
Its the same with G_D. Say you cuss or something. You tell Him you are sorry and will try better. Now you have to mean it. Words are hollow without feelings.
If Adam and Eve hadn't of tripped way back when, we would be living in like a utopia today. All be sitting around a lake or something, allowing our foot to nick the water. Just wasting the day away enjoying the warmth of the sun. Instead, you see the world we have.

Who told you that you had to beg forgivness for what Adam and Eve did? What we need to do is praise and thank God that he provided us with The Lamb that our sins might be forgiven. No not one is perfect except Christ. So you are right we all sin and need forgiveness. However we need to make sure that our walk is right with God. Because we sin we need to beg for forgiveness in our own lives.

You're not begging forgiveness for Adam&Eve's sins, you begging for your own sins.

Given that the world "suffers under the curse" from the original sin, the only thing you would ask for forgiveness for is your own sins - but you would still be cursed.
Strange stuff isn't it?

I'm glad you asked this question. YOu do not have to beg forgiveness for what Adam & Eve did, that is if you believe the way God revealed his plan to us in the beginning. See there is this problem. The original idea was that Adam and Eve did not screw up God's plan for this earth. They were acting on the plan. It was Satan who was trying to get A&E to act on the plan before they knew what the consequences were going to be, thus, possibly getting the plan off track. See we are here to become like our Father in Heaven. He said we will make man in our own image did He not. Well, the plan called for us to become mortal. He could not make something less than perfect, so A&E had to choose to become mortal by eating of the fruit which would change their state of being (perfect, but not conscious of nakedness, not imperfect, their first bodies could not die, and apparently innocent, they did not know how to have sex,) into the motal bodies we have, less than perfect, that would die, and would be challenged with hormones. I wonder if the fruit were the introduction of hormones into bodies that did not have them before and that other elements that would cause a change so the bodies would die. Well, anyway, most religious traditions say that A&E screwed up and by eating the fruit they sinned. There are a few religious traditions that say, no, A&E were meant to choose to become mortal so that God's plan could go forward. Sin would come into the world because by becoming mortal we would action poorly at times and thus, we would continue to be in a state we could not have contact with a perfect being like God or return to His presense. So we had to have a redeemer, someone who would live perfectly and have revealed to him all the secrets that were necessary to come alive again after dieing. This Son of God would then be able to teach all of us how to be ressurected and if we live like he did, we could return to live with God. We only have to seek forgiveness for our own sins then, so we can get in on this Reedemers secret revelations. It is more complicated than i present here. His sacrifice and His learing how to become resurrected is called the atonement or at one ment with God, but that is another paragraph I am not going to write here. The point is you are held accountable for your own sins and not for what A&E did, as what they did was part of the plan. They fell up, not down, into mortal life. They did it sooner than God expected because Satan tried to derail the plan. The place in all this of Satan is important, but again another paragraph i am not going to include here. Just know that Satan is the father of lies because he cannot tell the truth. And he wants you as miserable as he is, which is why he tried to derail the plan. Original Sin is one religious tradition that makes now sense and was used by certain churches to hold their followers in control as they taught only through the power of the priest and absolution could you get away from the original sin. It was a way to keep the faithful paying for the church and paying the priest so he could live. Well, I hope you find the tradition that teaches as I have noted here. Good luck

You do not beg forgiveness for what Adam and Eve did. You are responsible for your own sin of unbelief and rejecting God.

You don't have to bed forgiveness for Adam and Eve's sin, that's the whole point of why Jesus died for our sins. You are responsible for yourself.

The idea of original sin simply means that we are all born with a sinful nature. It is impossible for us not to sin apart from God's saving grace.

We believe that baptism with water -- by immersion, pouring, or sprinkling -- in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, cleanses us from original sin and personal sin (and their punishments) and initiates us into the life of the Church. It is more than merely symbolic; it's more than an expression of belief of the one being baptized (or his parents); it is a Sacrament, both a sign and medium of sanctifying grace. Baptism does something; it remits sins:
