Because he is a coward who lied and cheated his way into office and is not willing to sacrifice his life for his own beliefs, but is very willing to sacrifice the lives of others children, without remorse or regard for their families and his country.
Yeah, that sounds about right.

The first and last President who donned a uniform and took a military post as the Commander-In-Chief was George Washington who rode at the head of troops putting down the Whiskey Rebellion in Western Pennsylvania. Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Delano Roosevelt both led this nation in two World Wars as Commander-In-Chief of the armed forces and neither had ever served one day in uniform.
I fail to see what your point is.

why wasn't Bill Clinton fighting in Serbia? Shouldn't Jimmy Carter been on the Desert 1 "rescue mission" into Iran? Perhaps Truman should have fought in Korea. Or FDR in ww2. When you ask such a dumb question can you follow it to a logical conclusion?

No President in the United States ever fought in a war while he was holding office. Not to say that a lot of Presidents were not veterans, they did their combat prior to becoming President.
The President's along with the Chiefs of Staff and the Secretary of Defense is to plan large stratigic goals for the war. They are the ones that set forth policy on how the war will be fought and look at it from the largest picture available from coordinating with other countries to allow our planes to fly through their air space to ensuring WWIII does not happen.

Only one US President has ever lead troops in the field; George Washington lead militia troops to put down the Whiskey Rebellion. His Army Commander, General "Mad" Anthony Wayne was leading the standing Army against Native Americans in the Ohio Territory which would culminate in Wayne's death and victory at the Battle of Fallen Timbers. (1794)
So that was a matter of necessity more than any other consideration. In general, it's not done.
And the discredited-but-not-yet-dead chickenhawk meme goes down to yet another defeat.

I just love all the name calling, but I have a question. If George Bush served in the National Guard, and that makes him a coward, What would you call Bill Clinton, who didn't serve in anything, and he was a war protester while he was hiding from the draft, in Europe?

Because he's already the Commander and Chief of all military forces.
Are liberals really that thick? The Constitution gives the President the power to fight wars and be in charge of the military.
Before you can say it, I'm retired Army, been to Iraq three times...

Because he is the Prez and can not do that and fix everything else you want fixed. Thats like having you brother have sex with your girl because you want to break up with her but can even if he sleeps with her.
Maybe that does not really work but he is the Prez and has to much stuff to do to go and fight a war. If his Generals do not even see combat how do you expect him to go. I you are not coming over to fight then do not judge his actions what are you doing to help the War?

That's like asking why the entire Senate and House aren't there. He was elected to office to serve as our President, not as a foot soldier. Don't be thick.

Why wasn't Bill Clinton in Mogadishu in 1993? Because presidents don't belong on the front lines.
