Christians who love the Lord - are YOU praying for our nation at this critical time? Are you asking God to heal this nation, and to bring us a Godly President in the next election? If you are not doing this, why not ???

I am praying but my prayer won't do any good unless the people in this country change their behaviors. Remember in Revelation it says that in the last days there will be troubles, etc. That is because then you might pray, and prayer is always good and never does any bad, but the prayer might not get answered the way you think then. God's plan is to bring this old world to an end because man evidently cannot make its own laws and live peacefully without God. People still live in sin and do all kinds of things not pleasing to God while we pray so God will have to judge that yet He is considering our prayers if we are worthy enough (living a willful and righteous Christian life with good intentions) for Him to answer our prayers.

Yes Maam, I do pray for this nation, especially that the Christians will wake up humble themselves and pray. God said that if we do that He will heal our land. No amount of government programs is going to heal the ills of this land. Only the Great God of heaven can. And He has promised that He will if we humble ourselves and pray.
1 Timothy 2:1,2 Therefore I exort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men,2 for kings and for all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peacable life in all godliness and reverence.

It tries my patience so when Christians state that we should not have anything to do with politics and government. That's not Biblical at all. Thank God that our founding fathers didn't believe this way or we wouldn't have the religious freedoms that we enjoy today. But if Christians don't take their places and be the salt of the earth that we are called to be, we will lose all of those freedoms and it will be our fault.

I pray that God's will be done. I pray to give my fellow Christains strength to endure. I believe we are at the time of the coming of Christ. And despite what has happened so far the worst is yet to come. In Matthew it promises that these days will be short for the elects sake. Dont you think we(christains) have lived in comfort long enough. Pray for Christ quick return phoohey on this nation and its fruit cakes.

I would say Christians shouldn't pray to change anything because then 'the end' as they believe it will never come. What if everything that is happening now is God's Plan and Will ? Then they should pray asking to make it worse.....

you pray and pray but things will not not happen as you wish it would from my experience live your life happily and be humble and things will work out later. There are always going to be problems and your praying will just make you more misereable if things don't turn out right. Theres never a right answer to anything. From one soul to another these things are inevitable. live your life happily and i hope u will find souls like mine that wishes to help others. I sense you are a good individual that wants to help the world.

If he is godly as this one, I hope not. canadian money is worth more. We are spending trillions of dollars trying to bring democracy to 28 million people. Even if successful, there are still 2 billion communist chinese. It will probably cost every American Family 25-50k each to pay for this war. Thanks for puting me into slavery for a year for the sake of the people of Iraq.

We could have rebuilt 4 World Trade centers, dropped a trillion dollars of bombs all over the middle east, and still come out ahead.

Iraq only has 28 million people. New York State has 19 million people.

Good Job Bush & Co.

I pray for my family and those around me. I could pray for the whole world, but He knows what's goin on and he doesn't need every single follower in the WORLD reminding him every 3 seconds. Keep it personal and let Him do His job. :)

Daniel 2:20,21
Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever; for wisdom and might are His; and He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings, and setteth up kings; He gives wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding.

Forget about those millions of people living in horrifying conditions in third world countries. Forget countries where human rights offenses are a way of life. Forget about places where REALLY bad things happen daily - Pray for the US and its terroristic ways! Pray for the capitalist bully! Pray for the wealthiest and most prosperous nation in the world!
