Add a little water to the bottom of the pan and cover. The pasta should soak it up and the cheese will stop burning.

When ready to prepare lasagna:

Add 1/4 to 1/2 cup of sauce in bottom of 13 X 9 baking dish. Cover with noodles. Cover noodles with 1/2 of the filling mixture and top with 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.
Add 1 cup sauce. Repeat one more time. Add another layer of noodles and top with 1/4 cup extra Parmasan cheese and the remaining mozzerella cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees covered with foil for 40 minutes.

Uncover and bake an additional 10-15 minutes or until cheese is lighly brown.

hope this helps. good luck.

If you are using the "no boil" lasagna noodles, it should take an hour to bake. The directions should be on the box. Make sure there's enough sauce to help cook the noodles.

I cook lasagne all the time, it is usually an hour and then let it sit on the counter for 15 minutes to set up, otherwise when you serve it , it will be a mess, this way all the cheese sets up and it comes out in a slice instead of a messy casserole.

did you use some type of sauce to soak up in the noodles? It should only take about an hour for it to get done.

it should go in layers. 2 cups of sauce, then 4 noodles, filling, 2 more cups of sauce, 4 more noodles, 2 more cups of sauce, 2 cups of mozzarella, and any leftover sauce.

the best thing is not to use noodles that dont need to be boiled. Buy regular noodles, boil them and then make it. but you prolly didnt put enouh liquid in the mix to cook the noodles.

Cover with foil until it's done cooking.

You should have covered it for the first 40 mins or so... but it's ok if you cover it now it will finish without burning the cheese.
