Can a person avoid going to hell by simply opting for standard cemetery cremation vs traditional methods where the body is kept asleep/embalmed/plasticized until the resurrection?

Christians often use the term that the departed has simply fallen asleep and is simply waiting for godot...oops...God.

NO. Because even when cremated there is a piece of you the base of your spine this piece of bone is intact. This is the piece of bone that God states on judgement day we shall all be formed again from. Sorry there is just no escaping Gods judgement no matter what you do to your body you will still be called to judgement.

Hey..
Cremation won't help a person avoid hell. It doesn't matter what way you're going to die, or what kind of method will they use for your body when you die; that is not the basis for going to heaven nor hell. God won't care whether you're cremated or not.
As what we all know, Christians believe that your experiences and attitude here on earth while you're still alive are the prime basis of your place after life. When you're good, you go to heaven. When you're not, you'll go to hell.If you're somewhere in the middle, then your place is purgatory. Whether you're cremated or not. That's it. =)

no. no one can aviod hell except by beliveing in the lord jesus christ. I know what you mean about the resurrection, god said in genisis, "from dust you came, and dust you shall return". It doesnt matter what you do to your body, its your spirit that goes to hell or heaven. So even if you get cremated, you will still stand on judgement day when all the books will be opened. And the will be judged according to the good and bad they did. And if your name is not found in the book of life, you will be cast into the lake of fire.

When a man dies, his body sleeps in the earth.

The body does not go to hell.

If a man, when he suffers physical death, if his soul that is in him is not reborn, born again, it is still bound in death by sin and will be cast into the fires of hell.

So it is the soul of a man that will be cast into hell. When the body dies, it is merely because the time assigned to him by God to die has come to pass. And if the soul of the man dies in sin, he will spend all eternity in torment.

Yet, if a man is born again, if his soul is renewed, born again through the quickening spirit, Christ Jesus, when he suffers physical death, because his soul is living, it is taken to the land of the living, paradise, heaven where it awaits the resurrection day when it will be put into it's body that sleeps in the earth and that has been changed from corruptible to incorruptible. A body that will never die.

The only way to be saved is through The Son, Jesus Christ.
