You failed miserably!!!
Now you must die.
Never go out side again or you will!!!
What, you think real spirit filled believers will fall for that?
Some churchgoers will.

um...God didn't let you forget the umbrella...that was you forgetting. God isn't our personal butler that tells us what to do and when to do it, telling us "don't forget your lunch money ". He has better things to take care of. You're not helpless. Don't analyze that stuff as being God's fault... Especially not over something so small as an umbrella...come on now. Take some responsibility.

I wonder what kind of god you are worshipping.
If you notice throughout mankind (up until the crucifixion of Christ) God spoke directly to man and charged man with sins personally and confronted their sins with great adversities.
Then God stopped.
It is our free will to believe and love the Alpha & Omega, he gave us that. But when the devil took on a human form (remember Lucifer was one of God's first creations) and called himself a saviour, and was worshipped over God, then God just let things take their course.
The Old Testament is where you need to look for your answers in life.
People seem to think if they don't have a bigger house and better car, and higher pay than their neighbor then God doesn't love them.
This is quite the opposite...
God doesn't care about things of man in this sense. He always provides His truly faithful with EXACTLY what they need.
Maybe you needed some rain on your head to remind you you are only human, maybe you're just careless and forgot your umbrella.
Either way, God doesn't usually interfere with what you plan on doing, unless the opposition creates situations outside of God's will, it isn't His nature. He wants you to love Him and know Him so you don't come to these silly questions.
I am only a man but I have lived by my trust in God and faith my entire life. I didn't say I have done a very good job at it but I know I give it my all.
So, you can take what I have typed with a grain of salt or as a man who definately wants to share this message with you.

no, your being WAY paranoid about this. Its an umbrella, and rain, God will test your faith in him by someone close to you dieing or your house burning to the ground. I highly doubt he would test your faith in him by making you forgetful for the first time in your life. chill.

You know we can't falsely go around looking for signs, that is not what God wants us to do, Faith in God, is trusting in God, did God specifically tell you to take an umbrella, the main thing God wants us to do is follow His Will, His Word, and accept Jesus into our lives, repent of sins, and love one another, help people in need, and witness.

He is just keeping His promise
Matthew 5:45b For he makes his sun rise on the evil and the good, and he lets rain fall on the righteous and the unrighteous.

Did you know the bible says that God made the rain to fall on the just and the unjust. Okay---now we have confirmation that you got wet----let's go to the next question. Just? or UNJUST? ;-) That made me smile.

Don't blame God for giving you free will. You screwed up. God isn't responsible for you not watching the weather.
Besides, all you got was wet.
