A picture is worth a thousand words. An experience is worth a thousand pictures. The more 'real' something seems to us, the more empathy we have for it. Likewise, when we are trying to consider a matter of which we know little, we find it hard to summon much enthusiasm. If there is no photograph or drawing and just some vague description, we simply turn our attention towards something more interesting. large and small are all, ultimately, about communication. If you now need someone to understand something, draw them a picture or better still, give them an experience they can relate to.

I love it when people use prayer and religion as a reason to commit wrongful acts repeatedly!

"Wow! I just sinned! I should pray so I can do it again!"

Yes this is a sarcastic view but most Christians I see these days follow this exact same reasoning.

I personally abhor this type of reasoning and behavior. I do not need a religion to hide behind.

Yep, and that sin is gonna cause that nuclear bomb to go off, and prayer is going to cause us to be saved from the world, saved from sin and death and ultimate sorrow, God can move a mountain, and Jesus Christ can save you from your sins when you ask,
