Heaven or Hell and the choice is yours. What happens to you when you die is determined by what you do with Jesus Christ while you are alive. Since we are sinners and God is holy & just, we have one of two choices as to where we go when life is over. As long as we remain in our sin, we will go further and further from God until we are eternally separated from Him in Hell. But if we trust in Jesus, we can be forgiven of our sins and be reconciled to God. Then we begin to grow closer and closer to God and to know Him better and better. To disregard Him or to say "no" to Him will result in eternal suffering in Hell. Thankfully, however, to receive Him as your personal Savior results in a relationship where He bears the penalty for your sins and gives you His righteousness, allowing you to be in Heaven with Christ after you die. Think through these truths carefully, "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." The Bible says, "that whosoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:13) Why not choose Him today?
All of us will face our maker, God, one day and give account of our lives to Him. Do you want to face Him alone in your sins? You don't have to! You can accept Jesus Christ as Savior today. The choice is yours!
What is heaven like? It is a place that God has prepared for all who come to Him. If the Creator of the Universe prepared it, it must be something wonderful. The writers of the Scriptures could not find language that would describe it. In Revelation 21:10-27, John tries to describe the foundations, wall, gates and street of the heavenly city. We know that there will be no sickness, sorrow, tears, pain or death in that fair place. Revelation 21:4. What we do know is that after the sorrow and suffering from the pains of life on this sin cursed earth, we will be “finally home.” But best of all, the Lord Jesus Christ will be there, and He will be the supreme delight of every believer's heart.

I believe life works in cycles. I believe our spirit often leaves our body in our sleep, travels into the spiritual realm, but returns before we wake. That is why dreams can seem so real. When we die, I believe a similar thing happens, but this time we have to find a new body, that meets all our criteria. I believe that the reality of this universe, is the only one that counts. I don't believe we can escape to an alternative reality afterlife. I think reincarnation of the continuous type makes the most sense. We then must focus on overcoming, the serious problems of this world, in this reality. Being good at being a constructive and positive force, in this tough world we live in, will serve one well in any future life the spirit has.

I do not believe in the afterlife. No one has come from 'the other side' to tell me about another life. When we die that's the end. I have no problem with that concept. In my personal opinion the accounts of NDEs (near death experieces) are very questionable and can be scientifically explained by trauma and chemical changes in the brain. Scientists have been able to estimulate specific areas of the brain to recreate the NDEs in experiments with people.

I totally agree with Sen b. God bless you sister. yes there is an afterlife. You can choose to spend it on heaven, or hell. The only way you can go to heaven is by beliveing in Jesus christ, and confessing he is your lord and savior, and repenting of your sins. Turn to him before its too late. One day, small or great, rich or poor, old or young, all will stand before him on judgement day. The books will be opened, and if youre name is not found in the book of life, you will be thrown in the lake of fire for eternity. You have a choice to make now. Choose wisely, your decision will depend on where you spend your eternity.

If you look at nature, most everything is recycled somehow and/or changes forms. The dead flower feeds the new flower. Water becomes clouds. Clouds rain and become water again. All Life is interconnected. In fact, no-thing really dies.
If one senses that we are more than physical beings (pure energy) it is not then too far of leap to sense that upon physical death, we merely change form. As humans, we are a part of nature too.

Yes i believe there is a heaven. I don't fear death only the judgement that follows. Will i have done all i could have in life to please God? Have i done all the things that i am required to do? Did i really do my best to follow Gods laws? Yes i believe there is an after life but not all shall be granted a place in Heaven. Hell is the other destination do i fear that? Yes. Do i fear death? No.

Saul called Samuel back from the dead. Jesus resurrected the dead. Moses and Elijah was seen at the Mount of Transfiguration. Jesus told the thief on the cross, "today you will be with me in paradise". Jesus rose from the dead. If there were no after life then none could have come back.

I don't believe consciousness survives bodily death. All of my experience tells me that consciousness requires a functional nervous system. I'm not afraid of death, although I am a tad frightened of dying.

Not only do I believe in "after life" but you pass right into it.
Jesus told the thief on the cross that believed. "this day you shall be in paradise" you ready for paradise? or are you like the other thief who did not believe
