the fact that you equate evolution with a religion and prophets actually works against you and your religion instead of for you.

EVOLUTION is not a religion....its a scientific theory that has been proven over and over. It has nothing to do with the fanatism of other religions that want to be equated with science

There are no prophets.

We don't believe what scientists say because we've been threatened punishment for not believing; we believe because what they say makes sense, because evidence supports what they say.

Prophets are believed only because people think the Sky Bully will hurt them if they don't.

Not the same thing as rational persuasion at all.

I understand your need to understand things based on a concept with which your familiar, but science and religion couldn't be anymore disparate.
