Things I've learned in four years of owning two cats:

The little arrow on the screen that your computer mouse moves about is great for chasing in a cat's mind.

The ESC key or any On/Off button is a pillow.

The top shelf in the kitchen is an insufficent hiding spot for cat treats, so is the freezer, the sock drawer, and a locked briefcase. A fire-proof safe will work if it is high enough for them not to reach the lock.

A 14 pound and a 20 pound cat can topple a 90 pound dresser twice in the span of a week.

Cat's breakfest time is exactly 40 minutes before your alarm goes off in the morning.

A cat can learn what nerve endings to poke to wake you up with a start; my cats favorites are right under my nose and in the ribs under the armpit. (These are the third & fourth worst ways a cat can wake you up in the morning).

The most powerful gavitational force on earth is cat hair to anything I own that is considered Business Attire.

The surest way to lose a security deposit on an apartment is to let a live bird get into it when you have cats.

Kittens love to hang on screens.

A cat claw can get imbedded in your skull. (this is the second worst way a cat can wake you up in the morning.)

Never under any cirmcumstances allow two kittens to sleep on your thighs while wearing shorts. Especially if one likes to tackle the other, you will end up with deeply scarred thighs.

If your cats like to sleep between your legs you cannot sleep in the nude. (We have a winner!)

Yes mine do.

I have 4 cats,2 big cats and 2 kittens. The kittens sleep in the airing cupboard, the dirty linen basket.

We had another cat who decided to sleep in my husbands work bag and catch a ride to work in one lunchtime. The cat woke up and my husband had to drive back with the cat!

We also had another cat that would sleep in our car if it had any chance to. I remember it was a hot summers day and I left all the windows open and I had to go to the supermarket.

Half way there I heard a noise and I looked in the mirror and saw our cat sitting on the parcel shelf looking pleased with itself! So I had to drive all the way back home from the supermarket that I had just reached.

Yes, and not just naps either. Sometimes, they just like to sit on things for the heck of it.
Examples:
~Computer keyboards
~Newspapers (but only when you're trying to read them)
~My homework
~On top of the TV remote
~In the bathroom sink
~The stairs in the middle of the night (all the better to make you fall)
~My sister's face (you can bet she loves waking up to this)
~And last, but not least, on top of every item of black clothing that I own (cathair...the stuff just never comes out...)

Sometimes! Both my cats love clean laundry. Can't leave it alone for a second or else cat hair is on everything! And sometimes, one of them will decide to have a snooze in a clean dish like a pan or something. And of course, sometimes my spot gets stolen if I get up for a minute, lol.

We used to have a cat called 'Lulu Collacott'.

She used to sleep on top of our telly. At first we used to try moving her tail when it dropped down over Frank Boughs face during 'Nationwide'...but eventually we gave up and her tail became a part of the experience.

If I see an episode of 'Till Death Us Do Part' it doesn't look right without a ginger striped tail dangling down and twitching it's way through some feline dream!

I even have those canvas cabinets that cling interior the dresser and he or she digs the clothing off the shelf and sleeps in there - i even took the clothing out to allow her to sleep there yet now shes chosen the nexy shelf up! The worst is while my boyfriend shall we them interior the mattress room interior the moringd while im nonetheless asleep and he or she sleeps acros the authentic of my head like a hat or merely on my chest together with her whiskers tickling my face so i save scratching it!!! Does everyone prefer to swap cats!!!!

Of course! My cat loves to sit on a book while I'm reading! Or like right now, sitting on my desk in front of the computer.

Yes, on clean clothes usually!
Also my farrier had to come back one day because my cat had gone to sleep in his van! he could have been lost!!
They will sleep anywhere, even outside the bedroom door and in front of the bathroom door - very annoying and horrible if you kick them or tread on them because you are half asleep and cant see them :(

Mine always naps near where I am, he's a Tonkinese, and he just LOVES company, so wherever I am, that's where he'll be napping, either on my lap or nexdt to or as close to me as he can get. He's always upset when I go shower, LOL!
