I am not sure, habits are learned from your parents. It may be a habit of over eating or a habit of sitting infront of the tv from the time school is out until time for bed. I am a firm believer in taking away the video games and send the kids outside to play! Although sometimes there ARE real medical issues that may cause a child to be overweight, but by NO means is that always the case.

I know a lot of fat women including my lovely wife. I have never heard one blame their children for being fat. The fat women I know are all aware of why they are the size they are - they like to eat more than they like to exercise. Many enjoy themselves at the size they are. It is not the children's fault in any way and they know it.

Maybe they are embarrassed about being fat, and know that societally, it is acceptable to carry some weight after having children.

Why do you care?

I assume you mean the woman being fat? Same reason they blame other stuff b/c they aren't ready to face the reality that they are in control of their own body and can change it. ( even those with thyroid issues have control to a point)

Alot of women stuggle to regain there figure after children. It can be difficult to get back your pre baby body, but it can be done in most cases. What excuse do men have for being fat?

Because they are ignorant and don't want to take responsibility for it.
