Yes, we call them "text books" and "scientific journals". We have priests too; we call them "professors" and "doctors". Our churches are called "Universities".

I would say that the Religion of evolution is full of holes, "scriptures" might be a poor choice of words, maybe lies would suit the subject better.
I totally agree with the idea that evolution is a religion, though the evolutionists would not agree. How can anyone say that it is not a faith when it cannot be observed.

No, our scriptures are without holes for the most part. They're called science books.
Edit: And Robin, you might wanna check the science of evolution. You'll find that there's quite a bit that is directly observable. For instance, that's how we get drug-resistant germs.

evolution is no more a religion than "gravity" is a religion
the vast majority of Christians world-wide accept evolution
it's a very small, very distinct, very American, but very vocal minority that rejects evolution (and, against all reason, claims it's a religion)
