I don't know, but if it were, it should be called The Holy Order of Pointed Quesions! :D

With me as a yamsterian oracle complete with mysteries for the initiated and few cyber versions of a sacred grove,I'm sure I could pull it off. No,no tything. It's all paid for with advertising anyway. But I would expect a little something in the way of homage. For example, all postings might by tradition begin with some honorific to my divine aspect such as "In the Sacred Name of the Blessed Oracle and the Isness of All that Is and providing all due Penance,I hereby submit to our Kind readers the following for your devotion and attention, with all respect to the Divine oracle,She,the Wonderful, the All-knowing,Friend to yamsterism and all that which lies Beyond, therefore:" followed by the question.

That shouldn't be too bothersome.

No, YA is not a religion, but you would think
with all the people scrambling to answer
questions for points. That it does have
some impact in ones daily lives.
It's fun, everybody knows something....

I agree that it is an addiction.
Hello, everyone. My name is Eagle and I am grateful to be here tonight, and it is through the fighting fellowship of R&S that I am alive and able to take any insult and keep coming back.

Of course it's a religion! It is founded on the principles of the FSM. Of course, there is a separate sect of FWWSM (whole wheat). But we rarely get saucy about it.

Not in the conventional sense. Now, if Fight Club is a religion, maybe so.
