It depends on what is ordered. Steamed vegetables are better, as well as things that aren't drowned with sauces. Real Chinese food is healthier for you because it uses a smaller amount of oil.
Green tea, on the other hand, is an extremely healthy chinese drink that does help you lose weight, and much more.

It REALLY doesn't. At least not American Chinese food. Like a lot of the people before me said, our version of Chinese food is very high in calories (the reason it's so popular is because it's greasy and cheap, both terrible adjetives when it comes to diet-food).
The reason most Chinese people you will come accross are fit is that authentic Chinese food is much healthier, prepared with better ingredients and uses much less oil. They also (and I'm generalizing here, please don't think there are no exeptions to this) lead much more active lives. They drive less and walk and bike more than we do.

Hi Sweetie,
Think about it, have U ever seen a Fat Chinese person? It's all the MSG, Soya, & veggies, etc. they put in their food. And they eat constantly, I have a chinese friend who owns a restaurant her english isn't the best but we get by. When we eat chinese food, we're hungry an hour later, because we're not used to so much veggies in most plates, & the sauces, they make u have frequent bowl movements, as they & that's where the food goes, in & straight out. Mind u I don't mean to offend them, but MSG is NOT good for U at all & try to order from places that R omitt MSG. But going for a bowel movement as much as I do because of the ingredients, is not good for U & can lead to problems like: hemmorroids, colon problems, exess gas. Things they r used to not us & rice at all meals, no potatoes. I think MSG should be banned from all Restaurant's. I hope this'll give u an idea of why u'd lose weight & how? lol

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

I don't think Americanized Chinese food helps you to loose weight, it does the opposite. I used to work in a mall and I knew one of the guys who worked at a Chinese place in the food court. He used to give me free food and for a week I ate it. I started to get horrible stomach pains and I had gained some weight and I went to the doctor and he asked if I had been eating anything different lately. I told him about the Chinese food and he said it was probably all the MSG in it that was causing my stomach aches and prescribed me something to help.

Real chinese food is prepared with little oil, and the oils they use are not deliterious to the health. Plus, they eat lots and lots of plain rice and prepared vegetables. Their meats are sliced thin and low in fat.
I had a roommate from Taiwan who could eat a whole plate of chinese food, heaped up, and not gain an ounce. She weighed 100 lbs.

Having seen this I just have to share something because I spent endless years jumping from diet to diet without seeing any success until I saw Pams magic plan (i found it on google). Without a doubt the most weight loss that I have ever achieved and I have kept it off to this day.

No food 'makes you lose any weight!' weight loss depends on calorie intake and energy expenditure, so eat less and do more.
