I'm surprised on how most of you answered the question. It was more of a self-reflective question. (I could've sworn I worded it right)

The same thing. If I were as spiritually mature and self-actualized as I want to be, their negativity wouldn't affect me, because I would recognize it for what it is -- more about them than me or my beliefs.
Thanks for the reminder.

This an old saying that politicians and activism uses most of the time to make others feel bad or guilty about a certain situation for which they did not created . But if they need a vote to take actions that are to their advantage against the situation, and it does not seem that they will get your vote, the use they use the quote to make you feel like you are part of the problem.

When you get angry when you ponder that saying, you're just creating even MORE negative energy. Did you think of that? The thing is to recognise the problem and just fix it, rather than get angry.

It tells me that sadly there are people in this world who believe in pure black and pure white circumstances, only extremes. In reality, it is very difficult to make a generalization that qualifies as adequate. Truthfully, I see many different shades of gray in every issue we can possibly discuss.

There are two kinds of people; those who believe there are two kinds of people, and those who do not. Life is a little more complicated than your suggested paradigm would allow.

If you work on the energy that God gives you, and learn forgiveness and when not to let anger take control, we need to give our anger to God, and at the very minute we start to remember all that Christ had to go through for us, when we didn't even deserve it, that anger will be let go. and the negative energy won't even stand a chance to take hold, Good has already defeated evil through Jesus, don't let satan trick you with all his tools.
