actually, you are more right than you know.
the USA however is not based upon jesus, it is based upon his most important theories.
that is, that if you come up with a neat gimmick and market it well, you will become successfull.
see unlike the old class system of europe, taking jesus' example of going from a lowly "hand worker" to a person who was popular throughout all judea in his time, he could have achieved in ancient times what we today would call "success".

Oh my God.....I can't believe you said that out loud. Out of the 16 members that created the Declaration of Independence----9 were Deists, 3 were protestant, 1 was Catholic, 2 were Atheist, and 1 was a Native American Spiritualist. I'd hardly call 4 out of 16 a majority. The founding fathers wrote extensively on their beliefs and why they wrote the constitution the way they did. The reason for including religious equality under law was because they believed that all religions were of equal value and none of them were more important than the others. Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Hamilton, John Adams, and George Washington wrote extensively about their religious beliefs. Thomas Paine wasn't a big fan of Christianity, calling it "The greatest scourge against humanity". I don't think that qualifies as "based on the teachings of Jesus Christ"---it's more like open warfare against anyone who tries to make the USA based upon Christianity (or any other religion for that matter). The bloodiest governments in world history have been Theocracies.

Your premise (the USA is based on the teachings of Jesus) is wrong, so the conclusion you draw from it (it's the best system of government) is baseless.

Do you think for one moment that anyone is over the very One that created the world, the universe and us, how could someone else rule over something that God Created, and when God sent His only Son, and said this is the Only Way to be saved, We should listen To God, The Lord holds our judgement, And if we know Him not, How can we be saved from the wrath, How can we be saved from our sins, If we know Him not, How can He Know Us?

no, our founding fathers did not want to have a nation based upon a specific religion. They would roll over in their graves if they saw george bush jr. as president.

the USA was based on the fact that everybody should have basic rights. such rights (after life and happiness) are freedom to believe what you want, freedom of to say what you want, and freedom to protest.
