There's barely any chocolate in the poptart anyways. She would have to eat a pound of baker's chocolate to get very ill or die from chocolate, don't worry. She probably won't have any problems at all, if she does it will probably just be runny poop.
Yes, she will die, but not from eating the pop tart. And if you want her to live longer, cut down on her food intake. You're shortening her lifespan by feeding her too much.

The chances your dog is going to die is very unlikely. Dogs can have a small bit of chocolate, but if she ate the whole box of poptarts that might be something more to worry about. The worst that might happen is she get a little sick. I have a beagle and she ate a little chocolate before and she is very small and she was fine. If your dog is heavy it more that likely has a strong stomach and will be just fine.

It is the theobromine in chocolate that makes is poisonous to dogs. There is nothing to worry about in a pop tart at all and likek others have said it would be surprising for there to actually be chocolate in it. In any case certainly not enough to harm your dog. I had a large dog eat a 1lb. hersheys kiss with no sickness. As another said it is the dark chocolate that you need to worry about.

Calm down! No, you're not supposed to let a dog eat chocolate, but my Lab has snuck a couple of Hershey kisses from us as well as some snickers. He lived to a ripe old age of 16 years. I think your dog will be okay.

It's ok... any chocolate would harm a dog... but it depends how MUCH choclolate she eats... One Poptart won't do much harm...

You must be on guard from now on, because once a dog has eaten chocolate, it will always crave more.
Here are the dangerous doses:
White chocolate: 200 ounces per pound of body weight. It takes 250 pounds of white chocolate to cause signs of poisoning in a 20-pound dog, 125 pounds for a 10-pound dog.
Milk chocolate: 1 ounce per pound of body weight. Approximately one pound of milk chocolate is poisonous to a 20-pound dog; one-half pound for a 10-pound dog. The average chocolate bar contains 2 to 3 ounces of milk chocolate. It would take 2-3 candy bars to poison a 10 pound dog. Semi-sweet chocolate has a similar toxic level.
Sweet cocoa: 0.3 ounces per pound of body weight. One-third of a pound of sweet cocoa is toxic to a 20-pound dog; 1/6 pound for a 10-pound dog.
Baking chocolate: 0.1 ounce per pound body weight. Two one-ounce squares of bakers' chocolate is toxic to a 20-pound dog; one ounce for a 10-pound dog.

She won't die from poptarts, but she will have other health problems if you continue to overfeed her.

Firstly. NEVER give your dog food meant for humans if it is processed like a poptart, even some fruits, like grapes, are bad for them.
Call a vet NOW and explain what happened - there is no point speculating about what will happen. Have the packet with you and read out the ingredient to the vet.
If you love your dog, do this NOW.

Since when they use real chocolate in crap like "poptarts"?
Your dog is fine, just will be hyper from sugar overload.

The WORSE thing that your dog will get is diarrhea.... nothing more serious then that... Other kinds of chocolate CAN be very fatal to dogs though so be more careful where you leave what you eat.......
