I happen to be an attuned level 1 reiki healer an believe me it is not a dilusion. When my cousin, who is a skeptic, tells me that her headache is gone after I have put my hand on her forehead for about 5 minutes, I'd say that it is pretty real. And, technically it is spiritual because you are supposed to ask the angels to channel their energy through your body.

Reiki is a form of spiritual practice, used as a complementary therapy, proposed for the treatment of physical, emotional, and mental diseases. Mikao Usui developed Reiki in early 20th century Japan, where he said he received the ability of 'healing without energy depletion' after three weeks of fasting and meditating on Mount Kurama. Practitioners use a technique similar to the laying on of hands, which they say will channel "healing energy" (ki). Practitioners state that energy flows through their palms to bring about healing and that the method can be used for self-treatment as well as treatment of others.

The gift of Reiki is great, but it doesn't come close to Chuck Norris' gift of the Beard, which he gave to Baby Jesus on his birthday.

Reiki is the delusional belief that someone can cure you of an ailment by waving their hands over you.

REIKI is yet another hoax perpetrated on the gullible who WANT something real to believe in.

Sorry. You can get as much out of REIKI as you can out of Chiropractic!

God is an illusion
The Bible is full of hate
Reiki does not do anything

Although it is a form of energy healing, it is not a "spiritual" practice.
