What are your views on the immigration problem in the USA regarding illegal immigrants from Mexico?

Well im not for it nor am i against it. Cuz my hubby the father of my child is a immigrant from mexico.And i love them both no matter what there status is or what. He came over here legally but now all his stuff is expired and he has paid taxes i have seen the paper work and everything and were working on it the expired stuff so get renewed. ANYways.some immigrants come over here to better there lives which there is nothing wrong with that in a way. Cuz i would be doing the same if i was in there shoes. I do believe that our government should of done there job cuz now drugies and bad people crossing. I think they should at least learn english cuz then they could understand and they would have it easy that way for them to become citizens. I dont think they should deport the families but give them the first chances on staying here legally. Like offer english classes and the proper paperwork. and if they dont want to take those steps for than second chance then its wrong to let them stay here free if they dont want to try and fix it when someone who is trying to fx it gets put down for others faults. The whole thing just confuses me though.

Most of the comments are so pathetic and ignorants. Treating Mexico as an Enemy??? Did you know U.S. borrowed money from Mexico!!! Did you know Mexico is the second Importer of goods from U.S. after Canada!! My concerns is that media has been playing a big role to spewed too much ignorance about Mexico and Mexicans; That's why the pathetic comments. Simple answer look at both sides of the problem not one. Check the surplus on .IRS, Social Security funds, see the fraud scheme from Hospitals, Doctors towards Medicare, Medical, and social services.
Do not be blind towards a sensitive and polemic issue get facts from both sides.

They should come here legally. I like how Oklahoma did the immigration laws here.If you are here illegally then you can't have a job, housing or assistance. They can also not have a driver's license. It's one of the toughest immigration laws in the country.

I consider Mexico to be an enemy country since their govt encourages people to illegally come to the USA, and they teach them how to get free government benefits. They even give out maps that tell them how to cross safely into our country. Since there are tens of millions of legal and illegal Mexican citizens in our country, my policy would be no more immigration from Mexico, except for temporary workers. Get rid of these illegal alien invaders through a policy of attrition through enforcement.

Mexico is serious about La Reconquista, as they teach their children that the USA stole their land and they will get it back through colonizing the southwestern US states. Americans had better wake up to that fact! Giving amnesty to these Reconquistadors is insane and downright treasonous.

Interesting how this question became a spot for certain people to spew out more hatred.
Illegals aren't bad people by and large. There are of course bad people in every group.
Anybody who's willing to work hard and work for the betterment of this country ought to be able to stay. Anybody else oughta be kicked out, including people that cheat the welfare system. People have been getting banished from society if they were a drain or otherwise harmful for centuries. That policy should be in full effect. Come here, get a job, do something, be something and get to stay. Overtax your neighbors by being a worthless bum and you got to go-US Citizen, naturalized or illegal.

My views about mexican illegals in the U.S. are negative to say the least. I live in a border state and am surrounded by them every day. I have experienced racism from them,had my son who was 2 at the time physically attacked by them, I am sexually harrassed, I have seen my flag burned, I have been spat at and been told that I will be killed eventually unless I gree to go back to Europe(I was born in the U.S. thank you very much). I did nothing to provoke or deserve this. I'll put it this way,since the mass invasion began,I don't leave my home without a gun strapped to my hip.

They need to go through the legal process, and we need to start enforching our laws. If the government can't demonstrate a will to enforce immigration law, why would any of us legal citizens feel inclined to obey the rest of the laws?

The only way to stop illegal immigration is to stop giving illegals incentives to come over here illegally in the first place. This includes under the table jobs, free health care, free education, etc.

Prosecute employers that hire illegals. If companies stop hiring illegals, then there will be no jobs for illegals. The stray cats stop coming into your back yard and will go home.
