I want to know, because all the barbies that i have are blond, and i'm trying to create a greek goddess out of one of my barbies. As you may know, most greeks have darker hair than barbie blond. Please help. And please include all measurements, like if for some reason paint must be dilluted to make dye (cuz i have no hair dye), tell me how much to dillute the paint. Thanks!

use some of them non-permanent dyes, or just a brown permanent marker :)

How To Dye Barbie Hair

I don't think Barbie's hair will take a dye...It's entirely synthetic, and usually, synthetic fibers won't hold onto dye.

If you can't afford to buy one of Barbie's brown-haired friends, I have to agree with Peachie, who suggested using a brown permanent marker.

Try some RIT dye.
Since Babie hair is not real hair you should not need "real" hair dye..
Buy some black or dark brown and experiment in how dark you want it.
Read the package directions.

I might be less hard to just go to a used clothes store, go to the toy section, and find a brown haired barbie!
