have you ever heard the song indescribable? no one has been able to see to the end of the universe because gods ideas were bigger. the furthest out we can see is in the middle of the whirlpool galaxy which amazingly looks like a cross. but as for stars there are hundreds of millions in our galaxy alone. only god knows the true answer to that

Why is this just for Christians?
Astronomers can observe maybe 50 galaxies and each of them contains enough stars for every Christian here on earth to have one.

Too many to count. (Same phrase used by microbiologists sometimes when counting colonies of bacteria in water samples.)

OK, actual number depends of:
a. Health of eyesight (I need an upgrade of my glasses)
b. amount of light (go to the country with few city lights and you will see more starts).
c. type of telescope used (Is not the same use a reflecting telescope vs using the radio telescope we have at Arecibo, PR)

Bunches.

Oddly enough, most of us Christians are capable of seeing just as many stars and galaxies as non-Christians. I'll bet you're surprised!

App. 100,000,000,000 galaxies with 100,000,000,000 stars in each.
I see where you're going with this. I believe strongly in science, but a person's religious belief is his/her perrogative. As long as they aren't infringing on anyone else's rights, it's their own business.

is that really your pic on your avatar? That's all I could think of to say, since I cant figure out why this question about celestial observation was directed only to Christians. unless it is some sort of trap? and they probably wont fall for it.

more than 3?

Did you really count all of those? Your generation is so fortunate. My generation was not allowed to count to a million in a lifetime. How times have changed.
