Tell her to tell her friend's parents to bring a dish.
Watch them roll in with something that totally blows away your weak little "ham". Just watch...

Don't be disrespectful, but the easy way around it is go the the grocery store and buy a frozen kosher meal. Even keep the packaging to show the parents that it is kosher. There is a good chance your friend won't eat ham in front of the parents too.
I would be surprised if the parents aren't aware that there choice in eating habits makes it hard for someone who is no keeping kosher to cater to their needs.

There is no reason to trick them into going against their religion for the sake of saving face, as it was their daughter's fault for not telling you. Also, you would get caught, totally and completely, I have Kosher friends.
Either let your friend know that you already made the ham and didn't account for them not being able to eat it, or thaw out a couple chicken breasts, throw some lemon pepper or other generic seasoning on it, pop it in the oven, and let them enjoy the party. Another option is to go to walmart and buy a rotisserie chicken for $5, stick it on a platter and call it good.

If they are Jewish, don't do it. The party will be ruined. I would suggest going to the Deli department of a store and buying something that would go with the other things being served. Explain to them that you were not aware of their religious orientation until too late to change the main menu completely. Strange that the friend is not Jewish and her parents are. Hope she knows you are serving ham. Kosher is a way of preparing food, not a religion.

Tell her ASAP that if her parents are coming...the main dish is ham, but dont feed them ham without them knowing because they WILL know and you will look like an a**. I'd let the "friend" know more warning would have been nice or she should have asked the menu seeing how it is her family who is kosher.

....besides not repeating everyone elses words... The CHICKEN MUST be labeled KOSHER and cooked properly, not touching any of the utensils the ham touched.
Of course if you have a kosher market in your area you can buy ready made food and problem solved.
