I'm an agnostic, so being up for anything, I would let him in , apologise for everything rotten, people have done & are diong in his name.
I would put my arm around him & let him have a good cry.
I would ask if people ( christians) got it right when they say that he allowed his son to die as a mortal to atone for the sins
of mankind & why take such a long way around when he could have just willed it.( no one would be the wiser)
I would ask why he allows so much misery to fall on his "children" & at the same time have created all the joys & wonders of life.
Finally , the big one ......What is the meaning of life?.
I would put on a pot of coffee, have him put his feet up , BS for a while , have a few laughs & let him play with the dog.
I think he would like that

My neighborhood has a high concentration of both churches and homeless. So I would assume anyone at my door claiming to be God is a religious and mentally unstable homeless person. For me to even open the door, I'd have to see a miracle through the peephole.

So, the correct answer is that God DOES show up at your door - that means everyone - the mail carrier, your neighbor, and yes, even salesmen and religious people.

ok but DOES GOD HIMSELF have to come to our door personally?? CAN IT NOT BE A STRANGER IN NEED TOO>> AFTER ALL; it is written in matthew; 25 verse 35 and on that if their is aneed of someone to be clothed and u refuse or also to see the sick or vist those locked in prison we be guilty of doing this to GOD HIMSELF ,, if u have no compasion to those around u in need you also would reject the lord also if he were to knock on your door! I do not know how anyone could answer this question to the full extent. I mean we are talking about the ultimate creator of the universe not some random person. He is the almighty the one and only Jehovah. I honestly have no idea what I would do. Maybe I would fall to my knees,Or maybe tears would well in my eyes to the point I would have to look away from his magnificence,Maybe I would shout Hallelujah and sing praise songs in his presence or maybe I would be completely silent shocked from the sight of him. How could you ever know?
