The end of the world as we know it??

I don't know if you all are familiar with this, but have any of you guys heard of this "doomsday" circled around Dec. 23 2012??? Apparently many scientists are considering this, while many others are laughing at them. According to the Mayans (Who basically invented the concept of the calander, and others) believe that will be the end. Along with Nastrodamus, who said the same thing. Just wondering what you all thought. I really don't buy into, but I'm sure some do.

It wont end in 2012. But later. And it will not include god or jesus. Someting big is going to happen later.

I don't believe that the world will end.

I think that either:
a) they decided that several thousand years would be long enough for a calender
b) Dec. 24 2012 is a repeat of the first day on the calender (like the star positions, etc) and the cycle continues.

actually its 12/21/2012, its not that the world will end necessarily, there is way more to it than that... its interesting to read about, but i would take it with a grain of salt

and plus, well idk if youre a Christian so you might not believe this, but it says in the bible it will happen when everyone least expects it, and if ppl are expecting it then, then that cant be it.
