I've read the tao Te Ching, and I found it to be difficult but rewarding. The concepts are subtleand simple/complex at the same time. I've always planned on re-reading it when I had a few hours to spare... I don't really know much more about it than what I've read therein, so I guess my answer isn't very helpful.

Taoism is a form of budhism. some budhists and other religions consider budhism an agnostic religion already. so the question is kind of like how do you feel about yourself. i would think they feel pretty good. they just want peace and respect for nature and self. i'd say that's a positive in this messed up world.

At the end of the day, we're talking about people who separated everything out in 5 elements, one of which was wood. But many of the views espoused are compatible with mine.

Its not really a religion, more a way of life. You are not bound to the deitys in the same way as western religion, just expected to follow their teachings where practical

Eh. Don't know enough to form an opinion which is fine with me, wish all religions/spirituality's were that way.

It's more of a Buddhist philosophy, rather than a religion.
