Question about spirits?

I know this will sound very weird to a lot of people because not everyone is spiritual. I'm posting by my personal belief.
Ok, my mom recently passed away, the first thing that comes to my mind is her spirit. I strongly believe spirits exist, couldnt imagine all the stories/real taken photos etc being fake. But anyway as i think the believers can actually see spirits (obviously its unlikely to see a random spirit unless it was your loved one or something), but i really would cherish seeing my moms spirit. People have said they have seen them, one of my friends always tells me his dead sister is always with him as a spirit. If your a non believer of this subject i understand you'll probably not find any of this making any sense what so ever, however to those that do believe... do you think it is possible for me to see my mom if she knows i really want to?
Like i said i couldnt imagine those thousand of people lieing when they say they've seen them. Just some opinions please.

I know this is not something anyone can give a definate answer to unless they have personally seen a ghost/spirit.
People do say that spirits may appear in time.

I realize the dead cannot return, but thats just their flesh. The inner never goes. my opinion.

Lastly you cannot prove i wont see my moms spirit.
It doesnt have to be sent from god. Her inner will just protect me always and may possibly arrive on earth at times. spirits are capable of keeping their loved ones company.

But my friend doesnt see demon each day of seeing his sister.
Its his sister, she came back after dieing as a spirit , doesnt mean she came from god, she came because she was let free.
So its not impossible at all.
Its possible i coul see or see presence of my mo, she may help me thru things inside.

For people who believe in the Christian God Jehovah and the Bible, the Bible makes it very clear that the dead are conscious of nothing at all (as others have mentioned). So if you were to get in contact with your deceased mother- it would just be a counterfeit, a demon playing with your emotions and your mind.
Cherish her memory, as you already do. Don't accept a false representation.
If you're a Christian- try to look forward to the resurrection of people onto life on a perfected planet. Then you'll have your mom again in the flesh.

Thousands of people who have had encounters with spirits are having encounters with the demons. Satan LOVES people to believe in an immortal spirit that exists outside of God. So I don't argue. There have been "sightings", but they're of fallen angels and not our loved ones.

The spirit or "life force" goes back to its maker for judgment. What you are experiencing is the love you had for your mother, or some very strong feelings whatever they may be that you still hold for your mother.

It is important not to look for spirits as they don't exist like you state right now; anything other than adhering to Godly standards will cause "what is evil" to approach you and trick you.

Keep up much prayer and always remember Proverbs 15:29:

Jehovah God is far away from the wicked ones, but the prayer of the righteous ones he hears.

If you look to spirits something will come to you but it will not be from God. The dead are conscience of nothing at all. Please re-align your thinking and bring it in harmony with truthful godly teachings and standards, and not those of this evil world. Satan loves to deceive anyone he can. Don't let him continue to deceive you. Pray that the Lord removes this demon from your presence.

I am so very sorry about your mom. I lost my mom about 10 years ago suddenly in a car accident. It is extremely painful. I believe anything is possible with God. I have never seen my mom's spirit other than in my sleep. I will never forget the first time I saw her in my dream. I ran crying to her and held her tight. I told her I missed her so much and wasn't sure I could go on without her. We were very close. But she hugged me and assured me she was OK and that I was going to be OK also. I could actually smell her perfume. I truly believe my mom visited me in my dream. I don't have alot of dreams about her but that one was so vivid and truly made a difference in the way I was feeling. So give it a little time. It sounds like you were close to your mom and she may just visit you while your dreaming. May God Bless you and grant you peace in your heart to ease the pain of your loss of your mother.

I understand your feelings as I have lost both my parents and have the same yearning to see them. I do think it is possible for God to grant such a wish. I have felt that myparents appeared to me in my dreams and have felt there presence althou did not actually see an appirition. Just dot let this interfear with your life this desire to see your moms spirt, and dont grieve if it does not happen. She may be very busy in heaven and just waiting until you get there tosee you. Her love is always with you. In my opinion it is best to let her rest, know she loves you and continues to exsist in heaven.Also ny yearning to see her spirt you open the door for a bad spirt to impersonate her and decieve you.If it is her and Gods will for her to appear she will, if not dont be sad, remember again your love for each other and that will sustain you.

The most likely place to connect with a spirit is in your sleep. If you can meditate/pray on this, maybe you will have a dream with her in it. I believe, the reasons why dreams often seem so real, is because they often are, but in the spiritual realm. I saw my brother in a dream after he died, and he talked about his death. I have seem him often, after that, in my dreams.
